Competitions

 

If your child would love to take their dance hobby to the next level, competitions are a great way to start!

 

We have a separate competition class for dancers who are interested in expanding their skills and experience. Part of this class allows us to concentrate on teaching dancers how to discipline their bodies as well as the correct technique required in order to compete at their very best

Our Squad attend ISTD and friendly competitions throughout the year

ISTD Competitions

These competitions are regulated by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and run by the DFR faculty. We attend ISTD competitions in order for a chance to qualify for a place at grand finals day. On grand finals day, successful qualifiers compete to become National champion. We encourage our dancers to attend as many ISTD competitions throughout the year as possible

Friendly Competitions

These competitions are run by other dance schools and are a chance to enhance dancers ability and to take advantage of the extra opportunity to compete. We encourage our dancers to attend all friendly competitions throughout the year
